The room was luxury and exceptionally comfortable, with an own bathroom. It had great and unbeatable location, just next door to Santa Elena and Monteverde reserves, and a lovely cafe and restaurants. Furthermore, close to everything in town that you might need.

We had a fantastic stay at Pension Santa Elena! The location couldn't have been better - right in the heart of town, close to all the attractions. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the friendly environment. The grounds were lovely, providing a peaceful and picturesque setting. The breakfast was delicious and gave us a great start to the day. we had an amazing experience and would highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay.

I had a delightful stay at this property in Monteverde. The staff, including Rebecca and Diego, were incredibly friendly and always available to assist with any needs. Our room, located in the tranquil garden area, was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The breakfast served each morning was delicious, including eggs and tortillas, and there was always coffee readily available at the reception. The team at Pension Santa Elena provided us with a detailed overview of the Monteverde area and recommended various activities to suit different days. This was incredibly helpful. We also took advantage of their great prices on activities such as ziplining and shuttle services. The location of the property was fantastic, with easy access to bars, restaurants, and other attractions. it was excellent value for our short stay.

The hotel has well-maintained and functional rooms with a really interesting natural rock-tiled shower, a full bed and shared bathroom.

My stay was excellent for two nights. Stayed in cheap room by the garden. Exceptionally nice staff and delicious breakfast with fruit and beans and rice that lived up to my expectations. The location was marvellous, for example, Monteverde Orchid Garden was not too far from the hotel. I appreciated the venue overall.

our recent stay in monteverde was even better than before! everything at pension santa elena was above and beyond, from the amazing staff to the free coffee and parking. the room in the garden was comfortable and clean, and diego even helped us retrieve our lost headphones in just hours!
